Plan for 2018
- Release a 12 track studio album with fun songs I’ve written over the last decade. The content of this album is tongue in cheek, taboo, light-hearted, satirical. The working title for this album is Multi-dimensional Love. I have yet to decide on an artist name. Sonically, it is based around funk grooves and rhythms, with pop hook choruses and ambient tropical threads running throughout influenced by roots and reggae from Aotearoa. It’s designed as an acoustic album taken to the dancefloor – with road trip summer vibes.
- Release a 10 track studio album with philosophical songs I’ve written over the last decade. The content of this album has a focus on progression and exploration, of reflection on past mistakes and towards personal and social change and evolution, of melancholy and relationships, of connection and love. The working title for this album is Evolve. It is influenced by melancholic progressive and alternative rock from the 1990s and early 2000s, with acoustic folk vibes for playing around an open fire at the beach.
